A single purpose

Your data is used exclusively to organise the wedding of David Cahez and Manon Gastaldi, who are the data controllers: knowing who is coming, to which moments, coordinating logistics (catering, accommodation, carpooling) and sharing the wedding photos among guests. It is only passed on to the service providers strictly needed for that organisation (detailed below), never used for advertising. The site sets no tracking cookie: it only measures its traffic, without any data that names you (see "Visit statistics"). The couple may also reuse the messages and photos under the conditions of the "Your messages and photos" section.

Data we collect

For each invited household: member names, sign-in email, phone number and postal address (if you provide them), attendance answers, logistics choices, song suggestion for the party (title and link), message to the couple, photos shared in the gallery with their caption, and the days your household opened its guest area (see "Visit tracking").

Dietary restrictions may reveal sensitive information (health, beliefs). They are kept to the strict minimum and visible only to the couple — and to the caterer, in aggregate form without any other contact details.

Who sees what

Your answers are visible to the couple only. Conversations between guests take place in WhatsApp groups, outside the site: the site only shows their links, and your number is visible to the members of the group you join. Song suggestions are shared with the DJ to prepare the party, as an anonymous list (title and link only, without your household name).

Wedding photos

From the wedding day, households attending at least one moment can share their photos in the site's gallery. All invited households can view them once signed in; nothing is accessible without signing in. Until the day after the wedding at 19:00 (Nouméa time), other households' photos stay blurred; yours are visible to your household.

Each photo is shown with its caption and the first names of your household's adults (or, failing that, the household name).

The versions shown in the gallery are recomputed by the site, without any metadata. The original file is kept at full quality, but its location (GPS position) is removed as soon as it is uploaded; the shooting date and camera model remain. Until the day after the wedding at 19:00 (Nouméa time), only your household and the couple can download this file; after that, every invited household that can see the photo can, under a neutral name (your file's name is not shared with them).

A photo bothers you? Report it: it is hidden at once from all guests, and the couple decides whether to restore or delete it. You can remove your own photos from the gallery until 19 days after the wedding, then simply on request to bonjour@nous2.nc.

Photos are deleted from the site along with the other data (see "Retention"). A copy is given to the couple.

Your messages and photos

By leaving a message for the couple in your RSVP, or by sharing a photo in the gallery, you assign to David Cahez and Manon Gastaldi, free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis, your copyright in that message or photo, for non-commercial purposes. They may thus, in whole or in part, on any medium and in any format:

• reproduce it: printing, prints, album, book, poster, digital copy;
• distribute it: display on this site for photos, exhibition, projection, online publication, sharing with their loved ones;
• adapt it: cropping, retouching, layout, translation, combining with other messages or photos.

This assignment applies worldwide and for the full term of copyright, including after the site's data has been deleted (see "Retention"). You remain the author and can keep using your message or photo as you wish.

Messages to the couple. The couple plan to turn them into a keepsake of the wedding (we are keeping it a surprise). You can edit or delete your message in your RSVP until June 11, 2027; after that it is kept as is.

Photos. You can remove them as described above ("Wedding photos"). People who appear in a photo keep their image rights: simply on request to bonjour@nous2.nc, the couple removes it and does not reuse it.

Visit tracking

When your household opens its guest area, the site records the day of the visit (one line per household and per day, without the pages viewed), the date of your last visit and of your last two sign-ins. This tells the couple who has seen their invitation, and lets the site point out information updated since your last visit.

Visit statistics

The site's public pages (home, legal notice, privacy, lost link) and your guest area (home, reply, discussions, gallery) are measured with a cookieless statistics tool installed by RESILIENCE. Five actions are also counted: reply sent, photo shared, WhatsApp link opened (with the group name), song suggested and moment added to the calendar. The tool receives the address of the page viewed (the path only, without parameters), the time spent and how far you scrolled, along with what any browser sends (browser and device type, and IP address, which is only used to count unique visitors and infer their country, and is not stored). No data that names you: no name, no email, no household identifier. It does not receive your replies or the name or content of your photos either. It never runs on the sign-in pages or in the admin area.

Emails

The site's emails (sign-in codes, invitation link, photos email) are sent through Google Workspace's sending service (smtp-relay.gmail.com), which processes your address and the message to deliver them. The bonjour@nous2.nc address is also managed by Google Workspace.

Hosting and cookies

Data is stored on a private server administered by the publishers, hosted with Hostinger. A backup copy (data and photos) is kept on a computer belonging to the couple. The site only sets a sign-in cookie, kept for 30 days after your last visit (removed when you sign out); visit statistics set none.

Retention

All guest data is deleted no later than 12 months after the wedding. A household's data can be deleted earlier on request. Messages to the couple and photos, assigned to the couple (see "Your messages and photos"), are kept by them beyond that period, without your contact details.

Your rights

You can view, correct or delete your household's data at any time: most of it is editable from your guest area, and for the rest simply write to bonjour@nous2.nc.
